Last Friday, May 6, the award ceremony for the Academic Merit Scholarship “Dr. Alberto Andres Borattigranted by the Boratti Sanatorium to students of the Medicine career of the Catholic University of the Misiones (UCAMI).
The scholarship consists of full payment of tuition for the entire course and is renewed every year if the scholarship recipient passes the subjects of the previous year with grades higher than 7.
This year it was received by Camila Pilar Kachanoski, who has finished her secondary studies at the Posadas Institute.
On the other hand, the renewal of the scholarship for the students Gabriela Oriana Pintos, Milagros Aylen Gallegos and Antonella de los Ángeles Pereyrawho previously received the benefit and continue to maintain it for their continuous effort.
The Academic Merit Scholarship was established through the agreement signed between the Boratti Sanatorium and the Catholic University of the Misiones on December 18, 2013.
Present at the ceremony were the rector of the UCAMI, Magister Ana María Foth, the doctor Roberto Andrés Boratti, managing partner of the Boratti sanatorium, its medical director Héctor Manuel Riera, the vice-rector for Research and Extension of the UCAMI, Carina Argüelles, the vice-rector academic, Luis Alonso Freiberger, among other authorities, teachers, families of scholarship students and special guests.
The UCAMI rector, Ana María Foththanked the Boratti Sanatorium “for continuing to grant this Scholarship, despite the entire Health team having gone through two very difficult years due to the pandemic, and even so they have not interrupted the granting of this benefit that motivates students to continue striving to achieve good academic performance.
Roberto Borattifor his part, expressed: “For us it is a unique opportunity to collaborate with UCAMI because it is the only University in the province that has a Medicine degree and as my father used to say, things are achieved with effort.”
Camila Kachanoskithis year’s new scholarship recipient, said that “I am here to fulfill a dream: to train myself to contribute to society, exercising a profession as valuable as medicine.
We never forget what we learn with pleasure. And it is precisely that, what the career I have chosen allows me. Thanks to her, he studying is not a burden, but on the contrary: a satisfaction. It is like feeling inside a novel, in which knowledge is the protagonist”.
