The body of a woman recovered from the Sambre in Sars-la-Buissière

The Beaumont firefighters intervened Monday evening shortly before 9 p.m. rue Pré du Sart in Sars-la-Buissière (Lobbes, province of Hainaut) where the lifeless body of a woman was fished out of the Sambre.

According to La Nouvelle Gazette, the death would be considered suspicious.

The Charleroi public prosecutor’s office has been informed of the facts. “A file has been put under investigation to determine the exact cause of death. This death has no connection with the 34-year-old young woman, who has not given any sign of life since last Wednesday following being seen for the last time in Pont-à-Celles”, confirmed the judicial authorities.
