It was expected and it’s finally here! The sublime Avatar 2 trailer that viewers were able to discover at the cinema before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is available for everyone! Lasting approximately 1 minute 40, it gives a first glimpse of what will be the continuation of the adventures of Jack Sully and Neytiri on Pandora. And as you might expect, we take full eyes!

Entitled The Way of Water, this second part gives pride of place to the majestic aquatic landscapes of the planet Pandora. What has been a challenge for the actresses and actors will no doubt be a visual delight for the eyes. Impossible not to melt when discovering the Na’vi people in their natural environment! Crazy regarding technology and visual performance, James Cameron is once once more preparing to slap everyone! By discovering these images, we can say it without being too mistaken: there will be a before and an following Avatar 2.

AVATAR, TECHNOLOGICAL SHOWCASE OF THE CINEMA OF TOMORROW, BUT NOT ONLY…

Beyond its impressive achievement, Avatar: The Way of Water will also be an emotional spectacle. The plot takes place ten years following the events of the original. The Na’Vi people evolve in peace since Colonel Miles Quaritch was put out of harm’s way. Jake and Neytiri have started a family and are now parents of four children. But the exceptional resources of their land still attract covetousness and a dangerous non-governmental organization is preparing to sow discord.

James Cameron warned: a large part of the story will take place underwater (hence the difficulty of filming for the actors). Suffice to say that this short trailer is only a tiny part of what awaits us and many will be those to wait for December 14, the date of the film’s release in French cinemas. Released in 2009, the first feature film cost a whopping $237 million (for comparison, Titanic in 1997 peaked at $200 million) to bring in… 2.8 billion worldwide.

Are we taking bets that Avatar 2 will do better?

Moreover, know that to wait, Avatar will be released in cinemas on September 21 in France. The opportunity to dive back into the world of Pandora for the first time before dropping your jaw a few weeks later!
