It’s not just for the very high end overpriced. Asus also unveils a new range of Oled screen PCs under the 1000 euro mark.
Asus today unveils a large catalog of new laptops. Most of the new products of the day are aimed at the very top of the range, with prices that often start at more than 2000 euros when they are not close to 3000 euros. We know that Asus also knows very well how to build much cheaper PCs, at less than 1000 euros. We were impressed once more recently par l’Asus Zenbook 14 Oled. The brand reiterates with new products, always at less than 1000 euros.
Asus Vivobook S 14 and 15
We start with the Asus Vivobook S 14 Oled (M3402) and the Asus Vivobook S 14 Oled (K3402). The first integrates a 6th generation AMD Ryzen platform (AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX) while the second gives pride of place to the 12th generation Intel Core (Intel Core i7 12700H). In both cases, we are talking regarding a chassis 18.9 mm thick and 1.4 kg on the scale. To limit heating, the TDP is set at 45W for the processor. We also know that we will be entitled to up to 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage.
The Oled screen once once more offers interesting characteristics on paper: definition of 2880 x 1800 pixels, 16:10 format, refresh rate at 90 Hz and factory calibration promising 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. The connection uses the Asus classics: 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, a 3.5 mm jack port and 2 USB Type-A ports (a 2.0 port, and a 3.2 Gen 1 port).

The Asus Vivobook S 15 Oled (M3502) and the Asus Vivobook S 15 Oled (K3502) follow the same general characteristics, but with a 15.6-inch screen, a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels and a rate refresh rate amounting to 120 Hz. Obviously, the chassis is a little heavier: 1.8 kg on the scale, for a thickness maintained at 1.89 cm. The connection does not change.
Asus Vivobook Pro 15
Again, the Vivobook Pro 15 is offered with the references K6502 and K6500 for Intel, and M6500 at AMD. This time, the RAM can go up to 32 GB of DDR5 and the storage up to 2 TB. Asus also includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics chip on the best configurations. The total TDP of the processor and the graphics chip can go up to 140W.
All these references will be offered during the 3rd quarter of 2022 and from 999 euros in France.
