Currently, more and more details regarding Samsung’s upcoming foldables are leaking out. To Leaks to the processor spread bup-to-the-minute news regarding loading speed and possible colors on the web. We summarize what the leakers have revealed.
Probably the more important topic first: What colors are the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 likely to come in? In both models, one color should surprise you in particular. Noted leaker and analyst Ross Young posted on Twitter:
Z Flip 4 colors – Gold, Gray, Light Blue and Light Violet
Fold 4 colors – Beige, Black and GrayGold Z Flip 4 should be interesting.

New colors for Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4
Does Samsung want to reposition itself in color? It seems so, because according to Young, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will appear in gold. A black model does not appear in the list, however. As one Twitter user notes, this is likely to be the first model that Samsung doesn’t offer in black. In his answer, however, Young is confident that sooner or later there will also be a black version of the folding cell phone. As further color options he names grey, light blue and light purple.
He also predicts an unusual color for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. In addition to black and gray, the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (click here for the test) appear in beige. It would go perfectly with your tropical or safari outfit.
We can’t yet say what the colors will actually look like in the end just because they’re named. In addition, Samsung will certainly provide the color variants with more sonorous names than is the case in the tweet. In any case, we think it’s good that Samsung brings a little more color into play and also offers unusual tones.

The technical details, on the other hand, are a little more specific. Charging speed data leaked in China. There, the Flip 4 and Fold 4 were certified for charging speeds of 25 W. In the case of the Flip 4, that’s a 10W upgrade over the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (you can find our test here). At the Galaxy Fold 3 (here with contract) and the upcoming Fold 4 the charging current would remain the same.
This news is likely to disappoint some Samsung fans, because the South Korean company has been delivering its flagships with this comparatively low charging power for years. The fact that a nominal increase in the number of watts does not necessarily mean an increase in the charging speed has recently been proven Galaxy S22 Ultra im Test shown. If Samsung doesn’t add technology, even the most beautiful colors won’t help for long. Or how do you see it? You can vote under the article.
