“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” has drawn audiences in North America to theaters in droves. Over the weekend, director Sam Raimi’s film grossed $185 million, making it the 11th-best theatrical release ever.
The “Doctor Strange” sequel also surpassed “The Batman”, which had the highest theatrical start in 2022 with $ 134 million. The new Marvel adventure has already grossed $450 million worldwide.
