Thanks to science, the M6 reality show prides itself on being able to marry two so-called compatible strangers to fall in love. But happiness is not always at the end of the road, as two participants experienced.
Oh, love ! Who is not looking for their other half to be able to spend pleasant moments together? It is in any case the quest of the candidates of the program “Married at first sight” currently broadcast on Monday evening on M6.
Despite scientific tests supposed to prove compatibility, the pairs formed by the experts sometimes find themselves in despair and failure. This year, a couple unfortunately experienced a sad story…
Axel is a nature lover, he loves animals and has two dogs that he regularly takes to the mountains. Caroline is vegan, shares her cabin with dozens of dogs, cats and other chickens and seems to share the same values as him.
However, when she saw her future husband for the first time during the ceremony, it was disenchantment. According to his physical criteria, Axel was too small and the young woman did not have a physical crush on him, a fact that she was quick to express in front of the camera. Social networks quickly took hold of the story and critics were quick to pour in on Caroline’s behavior.
Claimed to be superficial because she was attached to Axel’s physique, she responded to the attacks on her Instagram account by arguing: “I was convinced that my future husband would be taller than me”. Earlier, she spoke of the hypocrisy of the remarks she received via a video where she explains the importance of attraction between two partners. “Axel, I like him physically,” she confided. But his frank and directive attitude continued to make viewers and other Internet users talk.
Tired of trying to make an effort to please him, Axel finally broke down last Monday and ended his marriage while remaining dignified in front of his wife: “I think we can be very, very close, but I think that our compatibility is friendly. I thought I had fallen in love with you, but getting to know each other I realized that it would not become love,” he confessed to Caroline during the last episode.
End clap therefore for the union of the two nature enthusiasts who will each return to their single life. To follow the other couples of the great adventure “Married at first sight”, go on Monday evening at 9:10 p.m. on M6!
