Egyptian foreign minister begins visit to Morocco on Monday

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Choukri begins a two-day official visit to Rabat on Monday, at the invitation of his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita.

During this visit, the two officials will discuss bilateral relations as well as topics of common interest related to the regional and international situation, including the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, according to diplomatic sources.

They will also discuss issues relating to the Arab world and the fight once morest terrorism, we learned from the same sources.

The Egyptian foreign minister is expected to take part in the meeting of the anti-Daesh coalition, scheduled for May 11 in Marrakech, southern Morocco.

Created in 2014 with the aim of putting an end to the terrorist project of Daesh, the Global Coalition once morest Daesh currently brings together more than 80 countries and international organizations. Its actions consist of military operations and counter-propaganda, the fight once morest the financing of terrorism and foreign terrorist fighters, as well as assistance in the stabilization and reconstruction of liberated territories.
