This disease affects children in infancy, and may lead to constant crying and severe colic if cow’s milk is eaten, and sometimes may lead to death.
Dairy allergy causes a major crisis for children who are not breastfed, and who rely entirely on artificial milk, and their suffering increases with the lack of available milk for these children in Egypt.
Milk Availability Centers for Babies With Milk Allergies
In this regard, the Ministry of Health and Population gave good news to the families of children with dairy allergies, as the Ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, announced that 13,000 milk packages were provided to children with milk allergy, sufficient for a period of 4 months, in the following centers: (Agouzah Police). Agouza families, Abu al-Rish al-Munira, Demerdash Hospital, Alexandria University, Tanta University, Alexandria Hospital, Zagazig University, Smouha University, Nozha Medical Center, Health Affairs Directorate in Giza, Sayeda Zeinab District, Cairo University, Damietta Health Affairs Directorate, Health Affairs Directorate Tanta, Mansoura Children, Assiut Regional Warehouse, Genetic Counseling in Fayoum, Sohag University, Minya University, Menoufia University, Shebin El-Kom Health Affairs Directorate, Aswan Health Affairs Directorate).
Most children recover from a dairy allergy by the age of two to four years.
