For killing her newborn baby and throwing her in a mountainous area, a woman was sentenced to 18 years in prison at the Zulia stadium.
The information provided by the Public Ministry indicates that 20-year-old Y. Villalobos admitted that he abandoned the little girl in the Jesús Enrique Lossada municipality of Zulia state. It all happened in 2019.
Villalobos confessed that she had suffered a fall that caused her to give birth early, then took the body of the newborn and threw it into a wooded area of the Casita 1 via Perijá sector, adjacent to her home, says the official report.
Hours later, the lifeless body of the infant was found by officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), who undertook the respective investigation work.
That same day, through the testimonies of neighbors and relatives, they found the whereregardings of the woman, who was in the Dr. Rafael Bello Machín Maternal and Child Hospital, due to vaginal bleeding due to the loss of the baby.
After interviewing her, the officials apprehended the victimizer in flagrante delicto and placed her at the order of the Public Ministry.
The 35th Prosecutor’s Office of Zulia state ratified the accusation once morest Villalobos, for the commission of the crime of qualified homicide committed on his descendant, stipulated in the Penal Code.
The 1st Trial Court of the marabina entity issued the sentence once morest the woman, who will serve her sentence in the Cicpc Delegation, located in the Maracaibo municipality of Zulia state.
