A new British study of genetic data is going around the world, becoming a Life expectancy for people who do physical exerciseespecially those who walk lightly.
This is a study published in the journal Naturewhich accounts for the effects of a light walk on the biological age reduction.
The researchers of the University of Leicester analyzed the genes of 400,000 Britons and found that people who regularly maintain a brisk walk throughout life might delay their biological age in up to 16 years.
Confirming a causal link between walking pace and white blood cell telomere length (an indicator of biological age), the researchers found that walk fasterregardless of the amount of physical exerciseis associated with telomeres, that is, the special sequences of the ADN found at the ends of longer chromosomes.

Experts believe that the accumulation of these cells contributes to the appearance of a variety of symptoms that are associated with the agingsuch as frailty and diseases related to age.
Thus, they showed that 10 minutes of walk fast is associated with increased life expectancy, and that those who walk this way have an expectation of up to 20 years longer, compared to those who they walk slowlyo.
