Info goes to users: Change in location: Facebook will soon no longer find “friends nearby”.

Facebook informed its users this week regarding a change in the offer at the end of May. The “Friends nearby”, “Severe weather alerts”, “Location history” or “Background location” functions will therefore no longer be available from May 31, 2022. With “Friends in the vicinity”, for example, you can locate Facebook friends on a map if they are in the area since 2014 – if you have activated the function.
