Al-Marsad newspaper: The digital currency specialist, Muhammad Al-Shammari, revealed the number of cryptocurrency users in Saudi Arabia, indicating that it is expected to be allowed soon in the Kingdom.
Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Shamimary said: “The latest statistics in February from UGAF company that the number of cryptocurrency users in the Kingdom reached 18%, which means 6.3 million users, and this is considered a large number.”
He added that most users are between 25-35 years old, and the statistic stated that 72% of Saudis know regarding cryptocurrencies and what happens in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
He pointed out that the operations in Saudi Arabia are large, especially in the category of ambitious youth who aspire to make money through trading in these currencies, stressing that they are of high risk.
