Marcano reopens asphalt plant in Caroní that produces a thousand tons per day

The first regional president stressed that they are going to reverse the difficult situation they found in Bolívar state.

With a daily production capacity of 1,120 tons of asphalt, this Friday the Governor of Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano, reopened the Bolívar Asphalt Plant, located in Cambalache.

The regional president was accompanied by the first combatant, Yajaira Arocha de Marcano, the mayor of Caroní, Tito Oviedo, the Secretary General of the regional government, Ovany Aguirre, General Julmer Ochoa, commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi Guayana ), presidents of basic companies, private businessmen, president of the company Asfaltos Bolívar, Manuel Naar, members of the Executive Cabinet and popular power.
The governor said that all development in the region depends on roads and their good condition. He announced that this year they will pave the main roads in the region and later they will carry out work on the main roads.

He highlighted the importance of the union of the people, of the private sector that bets on the work of the national government and the united working class. He explained that to put the plant into operation they turned to the workers of the Guayana companies.

Marcano stressed that they are going to reverse the difficult situation they found in Bolívar state, “with the effort and unity of all sectors.”

“We are going to recover public services, next week we will begin to pave the main avenues of Caroní,” he promised.

Tito Oviedo, mayor of Caroní, congratulated the workers who made possible the activation of the Bolívar Asphalt Plant in the municipality.

He said that in the last four years, they have only managed to place 2,500 tons of asphalt in Ciudad Guayana. »However, so far in 2022, thanks to the management of Governor Ángel Marcano, we have placed more than 5,000 tons of asphalt in Caroní. It’s undeniable what we can do when we work together.”

The president of Asfaltos Bolívar, Manuel Naar, explained that the plant in Caroní has ​​a production capacity of 140 tons per hour and 1,120 tons per day, with an operational scope of 201,600 tons per year.

He assured that they will generate approximately 60 direct and 20 indirect jobs. He detailed that during the recovery process five components were intervened; anti-pollution system, drying system, mixing and output of the mixture, aggregate transportation, thermal fluid heater and electrical system.

He explained that the types of asphalt production mix are; type I (rural sectors), type II (popular sectors), type III (highways) and type IV (airports).
