The first official response from “FIFA” regarding the replay of the Algeria-Cameroon match

On Friday, the Algerian Federation received the first official response from the International Football Association “FIFA” regarding the rematch of Cameroon and Algeria in the second leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar.

And the federation published, on its official website, a statement confirming that it had received an official correspondence from the FIFA arbitration committee.

And “FIFA” confirmed in its correspondence that all the suspicious shots during the confrontation with Algeria and Cameroon were carefully “checked” by the two VAR assistant referees during the match.

Before the jury added that it regretted the feeling of the Algerian Federation that the ruling changed the course of the confrontation.

This is a clear indication of the correctness of the decisions of the Gambian referee, Bakari Baba Gassama, and the avoidance of the hypothesis of re-meeting, according to Algerian media analyzes.

Last Monday, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee announced its final decision regarding the Algeria-Cameroon match

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee refused to repeat the match between Algeria and Cameroon, according to the complaint of the “Desert Warriors”, and decided to impose a fine of 3,000 Swiss francs on the Algerian Football Association, due to the rioting of the fans in the stadiums “Mustafa Chaker”, by throwing projectiles and lighting fireworks.
