“It may be a new, undetectable drug”: the mystery of nightclub jabs


Several victims have complained of injections administered without their knowledge in a nightclub, but the product injected remains unknown.

The mystery continues to hang over the new modus operandi aimed at drugging victims in bars or nightclubs using injections administered by hypodermic syringes. The phenomenon is causing a stir in France and Great Britain where hundreds of complaints have been recorded. It has been spreading for two weeks in Belgium. Latest fact: seven complaints were recorded during a ball organized last weekend in Dampicourt, in the province of Luxembourg. The Arlon prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to verify and objectivize the information collected from the victims, namely four minors and three adults. A similar testimony was communicated on social networks by the father of a victim who was allegedly stung in a famous Brussels nightclub.
