Microsoft and Epic Games had a very well kept surprise. Today it was revealed that ‘Fortnite’ comes to the Xbox Cloud Gaming service to be able to play online without the need to download the game on mobile or PC.

‘Fortnite’ in its cloud version will come to PC, Android, iOS and iPadOS, these last two platforms where the game was no longer available in its current version due to legal battles between Epic Games and Apple.
Xbox mentioned that ‘Fortnite’ will be the first step and they hope that more free-to-play games are also available in your cloud service. The company points out that there are more than 3,000 million players around the world and they believe that with the cloud they will be able to get closer to more players.
“Simply put, we want you to have more choice in both the games you play and how you choose to play them.”
Xbox Cloud Gaming is currently available in 26 countries, including Mexico. The company mentions that players have so far tested the service on more than 6,000 types of devices. Among the entire catalog there are already more than 150 games that are compatible with the touch screen on the cloud.
