The Nation’s Prosecutor’s Office opens an investigation against AP congressmen and former minister Juan Silva | POLITICS

The National Prosecutor, Paul Sanchezopened a preliminary investigation once morest congressmen Raúl Doroteo, Elvis Vergara, Juan Carlos Mori, Jorge Luis Flores, Darwin Espinoza and Ilich López, all of them from Acción Popular, for alleged influence peddling, and once morest the former Minister of Transport and Communications John Silva for alleged collusion.

The prosecution is investigating whether they are part of an alleged criminal network that operated in the Ministry of Transport and Communications, headed by President Pedro Castillo.

As part of the first investigations, the National Prosecutor reports the visit of a representative of the China Civil Engineering Construction company to the office of legislator Doroteo on January 13, the same day that a good pro was granted to a consortium made up of China Camc Engineering CO and INIP Engineering Integration of Projects.

The illicit acts that Silva is accused of allegedly form part of the plan of a criminal organization that recruited suppliers and directed selection processes for the award of works in favor of the companies Termirex SAC, Corporación Imaginación SAC and Grupo Arcose SAC, all of these linked to the same family clan, according to the prosecution.
