The turnover of the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) increased by 32.5% to stand at 3.2 billion dirhams excluding tax in 2021. This is what emerges from a press release from ADM published following the meeting of its Board of Directors held on April 28, under the chairmanship of the Minister for Equipment and Water. A meeting at which the Board of Directors approved the Company’s corporate and consolidated financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2021.
In detail, the press release draws up an almost stable balance sheet with a positive net result of 42 million dirhams and a decrease in debt of 4% compared to the year 2020. It also mentions a “financial performance improving, in line with the resumption of motorway traffic, but which remains insufficient to return to the historic level before Covid”.
The same source specifies that ADM’s consolidated accounts according to IAS/IFRS standards show a positive net result of 436 million dirhams, in line with the improvement in turnover and the favorable impact of exchange rates.
It should be noted that the Board of Directors also approved the management report to be sent to the next Ordinary General Meeting, as well as the regulated agreement between the ADM Company and ADM-PROJET relating to delegated project management assistance for the Guercif-Nador motorway construction project.
