Skirmish occurred on the border of Ukraine and Transnistria

Residents of the Transnistrian city of Pervomaisk report shooting near the Kuchurgan international border checkpoint.

The security forces of the unrecognized republic neither confirm nor deny this information. Perhaps, they believe, residents of the border zone mistook Ukrainian army exercises taking place nearby for shelling. The distance between Pervomaisk and Kuchurgan is only two kilometers.

Indiscriminate shooting, as a source told the TSV television channel, was indeed recorded near the Ukrainian village of Pavlovka. The settlement is located next to Kuchurgan, close to the railway bridge that was blown up on March 4th.
