The Phoenix Suns have certainly looked the part of the Western Conference’s top seed in their semifinal matchup once morest the Dallas Mavericks as they have successfully defended their home floor to take a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven series with a 129-109 win on Wednesday night.
Phoenix had four players finish the win having scored in double figures but it was Chris Paul and Devin Booker who led the charge for the Suns as the duo combined for 58 points to go along with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Luka Doncic was fantastic for the Mavericks, finishing with a game-high 35 points as well as seven assists and five rebounds. In the end, though, that wasn’t enough to give Dallas a chance at pulling off a win in Game 2.
These two teams will meet once more on Friday night in Dallas for Game 3.
