Twitter expanded the control tools it offers users, adding what they called Twitter circlewhich allows to define who will be able to see and interact with each of the posts in order to offer greater control over audiences.
The company explained in a statement that while some of the users want to share tweets with the whole world, others prefer to reserve and publish them only for certain people.
This tool will allow users to share their publications with their closest circle, with whom they will be able to keep “more intimate conversations” and establish “closer connections”with the certainty that those outside that group will not be able to retweet or share them.
Some Tweets are for everyone & others are just for people you’ve picked.
We’re now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd.

Each tweet can be configured individually and will be visible to the public with which the user wants to share it. In this way, before posting, they will find the option to share it with their circle or with all their followers.
Users can set their circle manually, from a list with capacity for up to 150 people, which can be changed at any time. Members of this group will not be notified, but will see a green badge below tweets sent to this group.
The Twitter Circle is available in beta for a small group of users of the social network around the world, both on iOS and Android as well as in the Web version.
