At the end of March, the Halo series came to the show on the American SVOD platform Paramount+ before landing on MyCANAL on April 28… And it seems to be a huge success.

To infinity and beyond

To support the launch ofHalo Infinite Late last year on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, video-on-demand service Paramount+ opted to produce a Halo series. A risky bet, but which, it seems, paid off. Indeed, if we are to believe the figures shared by the analyst Benji-Sales, the series would be a real phenomenon, and this, despite the mixed feedback from the press and some fans.

“Halo is a massive global hit.” Paramount+ experienced significant growth in the last quarter, gaining 6.8 million subscribers to 40 million. Paramount notes that Halo was one of the top-performing series in terms of views. Paramount+ revenue rose 148% to $585 million for the quarter.

As you can see by looking at the tweet available above, during the last quarter of 2022, the SVOD platform saw its number of subscribers explode. From 33.2 million subscribers, the service has grown to 40 million subscribers. The reason ? The Halo series that outperformed, since it is the series that has been the most watched in recent weeks.

The success of the series also allowed the platform to obtain a significant increase in revenue, or 148%, to reach $585 million in revenue during the last quarter.

Of course, Halo isn’t the only series responsible for this stunning performance. Indeed, the analyst also specifies that the 1883 and Star Trek: Picard series are also two huge successes.

Now, we only have to find out if the Halo series will enjoy such a huge following in our territory. As a reminder, the first episode was broadcast on MyCanal last Thursday. The sequel will land tomorrow evening.
