The letter added: “Please kindly note that the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by Mr. Karam Jabr, examined all the complaints referred to, and decided in its session held on 4/4/2022 to close my Mahmoud al-Mahdi account on Facebook and Instagram, for violating media codes and standards, and broadcasting Mahmoud’s account. Al-Mahdi is publications that represent insults, slander, and stalking in both ways, and insulting the art profession and those in charge of it.
