Among the latest news that Xiaomi has implemented in MIUI we find a new setting that allows us to customize system animationsas well as improve the autonomy and performance in general of our mobile device
Now, through the “Home Screen” menu we can select up to three different animation modes: Elegance, Balance o Minimalisteach of them with their own peculiarities, as well as with a clear objective.
If we select “Elegance«, MIUI will go on to show the system animations in their maximum splendor. Instead, if we chooseMinimalist» the animations will become simpler, in turn improving the fluidity of the device and the autonomy.
For its part, The mode “Balance» what it will do is set the animations to an intermediate value so that they continue to shine in the MIUI interface without greatly penalizing the fluidity of the device and its autonomy.
How to unlock this new setting for animations on your Xiaomi
Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not yet implemented this new tweak in the MIUI Global or European ROM. Even so, there is a fairly simple way to unlock these new settings on your smartphonebe it a Xiaomi, a Redmi or a POCO.
To unlock these new settings we must download the latest alpha version of the MIUI launcher. After that, we just have to install the new launcher and then follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Home screen
- Once inside, simply select the type of animation through the section Animation rate.
In this simple way we have been able to unlock the new MIUI 13 animations on a Xiaomi Mi 11 and a Xiaomi 12 Pro.
