An Ecuadorian earns up to $2,500 removing lice in New York

an ecuadorian woman founded his own company where he removes and kills lice from wealthy people in New York and earns up to $2,500 a day for his work.

He even confessed that one of his clients was a daughter of a former president of the United States and his granddaughters.

This is Eliana Ortega, 36, who founded her company, Larger Than Licea company that battles once morest these insects.

In an interview for Telemundo, our compatriot defined herself as a lice exterminator.

“Maybe the lice hate me because I kill them, but I love them.”

In 2014 her dream of living in New York came true and she moved in with her 8-year-old daughter.

At first it was hard and she ended up having three jobs to be able to live comfortably: she was a waitress, she cleaned houses and offices, she distributed flyers, she delivered pizzas to homes and she washed dishes.

Until one day a person told him that he might earn $25 an hour removing and killing lice.

She worked in a company and then went on to create her own.

How is Eliana’s work?

Eliana takes the confidentiality of her clients very seriously and therefore does not reveal the identity of the person who hires her.

“There are journalists who ask me to see me in action removing lice and they don’t understand: people (infested) don’t even want their family to find out, much less the public,” he said.

“Privacy is especially indispensable for upper-class people.”

Among his clients are businessmen, models, actresses of great prestige but when they schedule appointments they do not do it in their name but rather that of their domestic employees.

He revealed his experience of having removed the lice from a daughter of a former president of the United States:

“Eight years ago I would have passed out, but I treated them normally, like any client, with respect and education. I did not let them know that I was astonished, rather I put myself in the position of expert. They hired me for a reason, and while I’m picking lice, I’m the boss. She can be the president’s daughter or whoever she is,” she said.
