The Friend, portrait of Mix and Remix” He drew figures with big noses, small legs and above all a punk sense of humor that didn’t refrain from hitting anyone. Philippe Becquelin, alias Mix and Remix, died of pancreatic cancer in 2016. He returns today as a hero in a sensitive documentary directed by his friend Frédéric Pajak, designer, writer and Franco-Swiss editor. “I was afraid that we would forget Mix and Remix”, confesses the director who opens with his film a window on the work but also the intimacy of a designer as brilliant as his line was minimalist.

L’Ami, portrait of Mix et Remix mixes testimonies from Philippe Becquelin’s family, friends and collaborators, as well as precious images from private archives.
