Police patrols with fire extinguishers smothered the smoke
The woman suffered undetermined injuries, was treated on site by the emergency services and then had to be flown to the hospital by the AP3 air rescue service, it is said. Smoke was coming out of the car following the impact, which is why the responsible fire brigade was called out.
