Dennis Schröder is still a Boston Celtics player, but that might change next week. There are still numerous rumors regarding the German, and the Chicago Bulls should also think regarding the national player.
Like Jake Fischer from Bleacher Report reports, there have already been talks between the Bulls and Boston. Chicago is looking for a guard due to the long-term injuries of Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, Schröder would probably be available quite cheaply.
Accordingly, a package is said to have been discussed in which the Celtics would receive a second-round pick and Troy Brown Jr. for the 28-year-old. Boston might save regarding $700,000 and be just one move away from avoiding the luxury tax.
The Bulls don’t have these problems, they are still in first place in the Eastern Conference despite the injury misery. With Schröder, Billy Donovan’s team would get another explosive scorer, the German was already linked several times with the six-time champion in the summer.
