what if the game took place in France?

What if, for the first time, an episode of GTA took us to France?

The importance of where GTA 6 will take place

Of all things GTA 6, two things crystallize the expectations of fans everywhere. Its release date, of course. Even though everyone knows Rockstar should wait a while before releasing it, it makes sense that it’s so expected.

The other point at the center of attention, the city in which the adventure will take place. So much so that an online betting site has even opened bets on the issue to allow fans to earn money. And the series totally surprised us by allowing us for the first time to travel to France?

GTA 6, beyond the American borders (and to France)?

All episodes of the GTA series are set in a city in the United States (with the exception of Grand Theft Auto: London episodes). Without failing to rename it, of course. But the saga would have everything to gain from surprising its audience by allowing it to leave American territory, at least for a few hours. By traveling to France for example. Seeing GTA 6 open up to Europe for part of the story and invite travel would be a great idea from Rockstar, especially in a time when traveling is becoming a luxury due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Obviously, fans are attached to the cities visited in previous Grand Theft Auto installments. This is why the place where GTA 6 will take place is making so much noise. However, the community would undoubtedly be delighted to be able to discover a new place in GTA 6. Like Assassin’s Creed, the series would benefit from exploring new lands.

The changes would not only be visual, but depending on the context and the era, might also bring changes to the gameplay, at least temporarily during the adventure. The presence of a female character as the main protagonist, what GTA 6 seems to be tending towards, would already be a very interesting novelty. Hopefully it’s not the only one.
