The very first Forza Horizon was briefly available for purchase once more in the Microsoft Store over the weekend.
Not quite six years ago, in October 2016, the racing game was withdrawn from digital sales.

Several social media users reported that they were able to buy the game last Saturday for the first time since it was removed in 2016.
On the evening of the same day, Forza Horizon was gone once more. So far it is unclear whether this is an error or whether it might indicate a possible upcoming re-release of the racing game.
Typically, Forza games are withdrawn from sale several years following release due to expiring licenses for vehicles, tracks, and other things.

However, owners of the respective title can still download it, even if it is no longer offered for sale. Multiplayer and online services will also remain online.
That was around recently Forza Motorsport 7 the case, which stopped selling in September 2021, four years following publication.
The latest Forza game is Forza Horizon 5a new Forza Motorsport is also in the works.

Such a fun game, it still holds up really well and it’s 4K on Series X & One X.
