A fire broke out in a three-storey office building at the Kemptthal service area in Lindau ZH shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday followingnoon. Several reader reporters reported a fire at the service area.
The Zurich cantonal police confirmed the fire on request from Blick. A fire started in the attic of a building. “The fire caused a lot of smoke in the short term,” said Alexander Renner, media spokesman for the Zurich cantonal police. Road users were warned by traffic reports and asked to drive slowly.
Fire quickly under control
According to the Zurich cantonal police, the fire brigade was able to quickly bring the fire under control. They are currently still busy eliminating various embers.
