A total of 24,806,346 people received the first dose of the vaccine once morest COVID-19, the Moroccan Ministry of Health said in its daily bulletin on Saturday, adding that 23,285,114 people received a second dose of the vaccine.
The vaccination campaign is a free operation for all citizens with the objective of immunizing 80% of the population, reducing the number of infections and deaths due to the epidemic and containing the spread of the virus.
Since its launch on October 4, 6,255,278 people have received a booster dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, the Ministry of Health said.
The kingdom recorded 46 new infections in 24 hours, while the total number of confirmed cases reached 1,164,953 including 16,069 deaths and 1,148,474 recoveries.
