Two sizes and two finishes for this connected watch presented in China.
The Chinese firm is currently unveiling new terminals from China. He has indeed announced his new foldable Mate Xs 2 and its new Watch GT 3 Pro. It comes a few months following the Watch GT 3 standard with a neater finish and new sports features.
While the Watch GT 3 comes in 42mm and 46mm, this Pro variant sees the smaller size extended to 43mm. The two formats differ not only in the diagonal of their screen, but also in their design. The 43mm version offers a ceramic dial and a 1.32-inch circular display, while the 46mm model is made of titanium and features a 1.43-inch screen.
The other point of divergence between the two sizes is their autonomy. It is estimated according to Huawei at 7 days on the 43 mm Watch GT 3 Pro and 14 days on the 46 mm. The manufacturer promises a day of use in just 10 minutes of charging.
A watch made for sport
The Watch GT 3 Pro has been specially designed for two specific activities, namely diving and golf. As such, Huawei warns that this smartwatch suitable for free diving up to 30 meters and accompanies the followers of this practice to improve their performance. It indicates for example the depth reached, the speed of the dive, the data relating to the ascents and helps the wearer to breathe better.
Huawei also made a point of golf. In total, more than 300 golf courses are preloaded. She offers advice to improve your swing and more broadly your precision and practice.
In addition, it has more than 100 sports modes, including 18 professional ones. It is therefore not limited to these two specific activities.
A battery of sensors
Health tracking includes heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress tracking sensors that have become staples on smartwatches. In parallel, it offers an ECG, more successful than the simple measurement of the heart rate, as well as a thermometer which takes the temperature of the skin.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro runs on HarmonyOS 2, like the standard model, but also the Watch GT Runner launched earlier.
For now, it is only available in China, at a price of 360 euros for the titanium version and 430 euros for the ceramic one. The small model is therefore more expensive than the large one. At this stage, the manufacturer has not yet communicated when or at what price this new watch will be launched in Europe. But the Watch GT 3 being marketed in France, it should be the same for this new Pro variant.
