Against the backdrop of such a domestic old car boom, automobile manufacturers are also making efforts to reprint and sell repair parts, etc. for the most popular models among the discontinued models. On the other hand, some restorers say, “There are many popular old cars that do not have parts from the manufacturer.” This is due to the small number of models that support the parts resale service developed by manufacturers.
For example, Toyota’s “GR Heritage Parts” has four models (2000GT, A70 / A80 Supra, AE86 Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno, 40 series Land Cruiser), and Nissan’s “NISMO Heritage Parts” has three models (R32). / R33 type / R34 type Skyline GT-R), Honda has “NSX” and “Beat”, and Mazda has two models (NA type roadster, FC type / FD type RX-7). Looking at the current situation of each manufacturer, it can be seen that parts resale services are being offered to only a handful of vehicle models.

At the exhibition, Toyota introduced the start of resale of parts for the light truck “Acty Truck” in addition to the Beat for all models compatible with GR Heritage Parts, but the person in charge of each company will be informed of the service content etc. In addition, I asked my question. We interviewed the policies and issues of the old car parts service provided by both companies, and the circumstances in which it is not possible to increase the number of compatible models, so I would like to introduce them.
