After fatal knife wounds on a woman in Berlin-Pankow, the public prosecutor’s office has obtained an arrest warrant once morest a 42-year-old man. He is in custody on suspicion of manslaughter, the public prosecutor’s office said on Twitter on Saturday.
The 31-year-old woman was killed on Friday morning on the street with multiple stab wounds. According to the police, the 42-year-old Afghan suspect is said to have six children together with the victim.
The police and prosecutors have launched an appeal for witnesses. We are looking for photos, videos and information regarding the crime. This happened on Friday morning around 10 a.m. on the corner of Maximilianstrasse and Mühlenstrasse.

Observations on the escape of the alleged perpetrator are also sought. This had initially escaped, but was caught on Friday. The 4th Homicide Commission of the State Criminal Police Office receives information.
