Veteran actor Zeng Jiang was found dead in a designated quarantine hotel room the day before yesterday (27th). He was 87 years old.
Zeng Muxue, daughter of Zeng Jiang and his second wife Deng Gongbi, was interviewed by “Ming Zhou”, recalling that he received a call from his father the night before the incident, expressing a heartache and hunger, and her husband immediately went to Zeng Jiang and his wife Jiao Jiao. Take medicine and buy food from the apartment and send it to the hotel, and the staff will deliver it to the room on your behalf. She kept calling her father the next morning, but no one answered the phone, so she called the hotel and asked the staff to go upstairs to pat the door. Zeng Muxue asked the staff to use the backup key to open the door, but the staff said that the quarantine was related, and asked the family to call the hotline of the Department of Health, and the Department of Health arranged. After Zeng Muxue got in touch with the Department of Health, the staff of the Department of Health called the police on their behalf. The ambulancemen and police officers opened the door and found that Zeng Jiang had passed away. It was around 12 noon, and the incident lasted for three hours.
Zeng Muxue went to the hotel room to see Zeng Jiang for the last time. She pointed to her father’s peaceful face: “Say Goodbye to him and tell him that we will continue to live well and take good care of Auntie (Jiao Jiao), and being children is the most important thing. It’s all to tell my father.” Zeng Muxue pointed out that Zeng Jiang left this world easily and peacefully, and had a fulfilling and wonderful life, enjoying every day happily and having no regrets in his life. She said, “Dad is a carefree person who faces death calmly. The last thing he wants to do is get sick. Before leaving, he will be pain-free, eat, eat, and have fun. These are the most important things in life for him. His friends can rest assured.” Zeng Muxue was reluctant to discuss the arrangement of the quarantine hotel. She said the hotel, the FEHD, the Department of Health and the police were also very helpful, and she didn’t want to blame anyone.
