Several phenomena come together to exist pet-focused mobile apps: on the one hand, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the adoption of domestic animals as well as the expense for their care. On the other hand, recent data indicate that 92% of Argentines declare that their pet is one more member of their family, 97% suffer when something happens to their pet and six out of 10 sleep with them. Besides, 75% of households in Argentina have pets.
