A medical report revealed that ways to maintain oral health during Ramadan include more than just brushing the teeth.
And the report said, there are 8 tips related to oral health this month, according to what the Saudi CDC stated in a tweet on Twitter.
The tips were as follows:
1/ Make sure to brush your teeth twice a day, for two minutes each time
2/ Use dental floss to reach areas that a toothbrush cannot reach
3/ Use a mouthwash containing fluoride to promote oral health
4/ Drink plenty of water
5/ Make sure to eat foods that promote oral and dental health, such as dairy products, eggs, and legumes
6/ Reduce your intake of sugar and sweets during breakfast
7/ Avoid soft drinks, and reduce tea and coffee
8/ Take advantage of Ramadan to quit smoking
