Passed by Sporting de Charleroi between 2018 and 2019 before being sold to Lille and then to Naples, Victor Osimhen might take the plunge in England.
According to La Repubblica, the man with 26 goals in 58 matches with the Dries Mertens club would interest three Premier League teams: Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester United. The Red Devils have also made an offer of more than 100 million euros to the club chaired by De Laurentiis.
If an arrival at Arsenal is not to be excluded, it seems more complicated since the Gunners first want to sell Nicolas Pépé to free up the payroll. In addition, the Londoners are not yet guaranteed to participate in the next Champions League and it would be hard to see the 23-year-old striker depriving himself of playing in the most prestigious of European competitions.
Also according to the Italian press, the Nigerian would have had a meeting with his agent to discuss his future. Result ? The striker would not take a dim view of a departure across the Channel and the offer from Manchester United would not leave him indifferent.
The summer transfer window has not yet opened its doors but the Osimhen saga is well and truly launched!
