NASA announces the departure of 4 astronauts to the International Space Station

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced the launch of a carrier rocket by the US company, SpaceX, with the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will transport a crew of four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle took off from Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA) at 03:55 EST. The crew of the spacecraft, named Freedom, consists of NASA astronauts Jill Lindgren, Robert Haynes and Jessica Watkins, as well as Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency, from Italy. Their mission in the orbital position will last for six months, during which they will conduct more than 200 research experiments.
