News 24 | Muhammad Abdo: Talal Maddah and Abu Bakr Salem did not leave a patriotic legacy… and my beloved patriotic melody was stolen

The artist Mohammed Abdo said that the national “artistic” heritage is the most durable, indicating that the artists Talal Maddah and Abu Bakr Salem did not leave a legacy of national songs, and that he addressed them with this talk while they were alive.

And “Abdo” added, during his meeting on the “Stages with Ali Al-Olayani” program on the “SBC” channel, that the tune of the song “My Beloved Country” by Talal Maddah was stolen, likening the song “Ya my country, pray” by the late Abu Bakr Salem to a person pushing a car, saying: “This Not home.”

He pointed out that the artist Rabeh Saqr has developed a lot of himself and attracts many segments of young people who prefer “rap” songs, considering that the songs of the artist Abdul Majeed Abdullah are temporary and fast and do not constitute a heritage.

He pointed out that the artists Abadi Al-Jawhar and Rabeh Saqr do not impress him in the field of the oud, unlike the artist Omar Kadres, who is distinguished for his singing and memorizing oriental maqams that are not played in the Arabian Peninsula.

Regarding his wealth, he explained that he owns 11 billion in reference to his eleven sons and daughters, pointing out that he owns several properties at the request of his mother, who was not satisfied with his entry into the field of art.
