The energy group Uniper made a net loss of around three billion euros in the first quarter. The reason for this was losses in the gas storage business and write-downs of around two billion euros, among other things in connection with the initially failed gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 and the Russian subsidiary Unipro, the group announced on Tuesday evening.
However, the group is sticking to its annual forecasts for adjusted EBIT of EUR 1.0 to 1.3 billion and adjusted net income of EUR 800 million to EUR 1.1 billion.
