Cracks accumulate
Early on Tuesday morning, a wolf most likely killed several sheep in Cerentino in the Vallemaggia. The Ticino Office for Hunting and Fishing confirmed the crack at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency. However, it is not yet certain that a wolf killed the animals, said the person responsible at the Ticino Office for Hunting and Fishing.
Several sheep had already been killed in the Rovana Valley at the end of March. In mid-April, a wolf killed 13 animals in southern Ticino near Novazzano. (SDA)
