While playing football on a field near Roeselare station, a 14-year-old teenager was attacked by a group of regarding fifteen young people. They wanted to “talk” to him regarding an altercation that was taking place with a classmate. As Het Laatste Nieuws explains, the group then lured the teenager to a building not far from there, sheltered from the cameras of the city (“ironic” when you know that the young people themselves filmed the scene ), to take it out on him.
After receiving numerous blows, the boy managed to escape and return home. Not without major injuries: bruises, pain… However, he will not tell his parents. “We received the videos in the evening through acquaintances who had recognized our son”, explains the father to our colleagues. “It hurts as a parent, to see his son being slaughtered like that… He was too scared to tell us. Especially since his attackers also told him that they weren’t afraid of us or the police. »
With the videos that have been broadcast, the dad is now planning to file a complaint. “But even without a complaint, we will investigate it,” said the local police chief.
