The accident resulted in the death of: the driver of the first car, his wife, his brother and two sons, and the injury of his daughter, and the brother of his wife with injuries and suspected fractures, bruises and abrasions on the body, all of them from one family and residing in the Sohag Center district.
In addition, the dead and injured were transferred to Sohag General Hospital and Sohag University Hospital.
For their part, the driver of the second car and the injured stated their statements, in a report on the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
