The country music star’s tenth album is named Macon, Georgia following his hometown. The second half is out now.

Macon, Georgia is Jason Aldean’s tenth record. This milestone may also have contributed to the decision to split the album into two parts. Macon is the birthplace of Aldean and is located in the state of Georgia. This makes it clear that the musician is also focusing on his past. “The cool thing regarding doing two parts on this record is that fans can hear all the different influences that I grew up with,” he says of Macon, Georgia.
There are also tracks that, at least for Aldean himself, don’t have that much to do with country anymore. Including the single “Trouble with a Heartbreak” released by Jason Aldean earlier this year.
“‘Trouble with a Heartbreak’ hit me as soon as I heard it,” Aldean says of the song. “It reminded me of those bitter R&B breakup songs that take me back to the days when I was driving down Georgia’s back roads.” Watch the video once more here:
