Kazem Al-Saher (September 12, 1957 -), an Iraqi singer and composer with dual Canadian and Qatari nationalities.

He is known to have composed all his songs himself so far, with the exception of a few songs in which he used other composers.

He has many titles, the most important of which are “The Ambassador of the Iraqi Song” and “Caesar of the Arab Song”, which was granted to him by the late Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani.

He began his artistic life in 1981 when he sang a song entitled (Ward Al-Eshq), composed by him and the words of the poet Youssef Maqsoud. In 1984, he released his first album, entitled (The Olive Tree),

From the words of the poet (Assaad Al-Ghurairy), then he collaborated with the poet Aziz Al-Rassam, then with the well-known poet Karim Al-Iraqi in the introduction to the series (Nadia) titled “Shajaha Al-Nas” in 1987

And his first artistic success was in 1989, in the song “I crossed the beach” from the words of Aziz Al-Rassam. Your good, choose me.”

His first collaboration was with the poet Nizar Qabbani, and then “Zaydini Eshka” and “Fi Madrasat Al Hob”, which made him one of the best Arab singers. Making his songs live up to the global level.

Al-Saher was not satisfied with singing and composing, but he also appeared in the series “Al-Mosafer” and was his hero, and the series is considered as a photo album to present the work of Al-Saher. The documentary My Country has been selected

Among the films nominated for the Best Documentary Film Award, Kazem El-Saher had put the music and the song “My Country is Good Morning” for the film, following the staff had chosen it specifically for that.

And Kazem El-Saher is the only Arab artist to sing in the Royal Hall in Britain, and he is the second artist in the world following Madonna, who obtained the key to the city of Sydney.
