Qatar: Great preparations are underway in Qatar ahead of the FIFA World Cup. As part of this, four new health centers will be opened in the country. New health centers will be opened in Al Mashaf, Um Al Saneem and Al Sadd under the Primary Care Corporation (PHCC). In addition, the existing health center in Al Khor will be replaced with a new one with modern facilities. Health centers are in the final stages of refinement.

With the opening of such new health centers, the number of health centers in the country will increase to 31. There are currently 27 health centers in the country. It does more than just build new health centers. It has also decided to upgrade the facilities of the old clinics in a big way. It is decided to provide modern facilities.
As part of the expansion plan, new health centers will be built to replace existing ones in Umm Guevara and Madinah Khalifa.

It has also decided to build new health centers in Bani Hajar and Nuaija. One such plan is for 2025. Plans are afoot to launch a dialysis service at Maitreya Health Center. Currently, dialysis facilities are available only in Al Shihania, Al Ruwais and Al Wakrah in Qatar.
