Kannur | MV Jayarajan launches cyber attack; Reshma’s complaint to the Chief Minister

Kannur: Reshma, who had lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister once morest CPM Kannur district secretary MV Jayarajan, has been arrested for absconding in the Haridas murder case. Meanwhile, police have been monitoring Reshma’s house and surroundings in Andalur. About 10 officers have been assigned for this. Police have beefed up security in the area in view of the possible danger to Reshma.

Jayarajan had said that Prashant’s wife Reshma had rented the house to the accused and the police had found out that they were also related to the accused Nikhil.

Reshma’s parents had said that the house was given to her because she was the husband of a close friend. The daughter’s husband wrote the lease agreement with Prashant’s and their consent and gave the keys. But when the police came to the house last morning, they realized that it was a mistake. Reshma’s family members said that they were shocked to see the defamation campaign once morest Reshma on social media.

Nijil was hiding 200 meters away from the house of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Pinarayi SI also lives near the house where the accused went into hiding. Nijil Das was arrested around 3.30 am. Thalassery Judicial Magistrate’s Court remanded Nijil Das for 14 days.
